[ALT JAZZ] Summer Pearl [UK] 18+

The second instalment of the ALT JAZZ series brings Summer Pearl. Known for her care-free live performances and to-the-point lyrics, Summer Pearl transcends the audience to a place of soul and truth. With a mix of jazz, neo-soul, and hip-hop, Summer Pearl comes live at Control on Monday, March 30 - a show in partnership with Black Rhino Radio.

In 2023, Summer released her 3rd project titled 'outmysystem', digitally and on vinyl, with collaborations from Liam Bailey, LEVi and Kaidi Tatham. In the same month, Summer sold out her headline show at the London Jazz Festival at The Lower Third, Soho, in collaboration with Appleton Rum.

2024 saw many highs for Summer selling out the Hackney Social, supporting Gotts Street Park at their sold out show at Scala, perform at Brick Lane Jazz Festival, take the main stage at Cross the Tracks Festival, go on tour with Steam Down in South Korea and Australia, support Philadelphia Hip Hop Legends Digable Planets at London’s legendary venue, Koko and so much more.

With 4 released projects (EP’s and mixtapes), Summer is often dubbed as ”an artist who is involved with the evolution of Jazz" - Montreux Jazz Festival. This year, Summer Pearl has already sold out Ronnie Scott's, where she will play 2 headline shows in March, and is about to announce a headline show at the Royal Albert Hall (Elgar Room)
